Field Calibration Technician
This role is vital to maintaining equipment performance, service quality and international calibration standards.
About the position
As a Calibrationhouse Calibration Field Technician, you will be responsible for the calibration, and adjustment of a wide range of test and measurement equipment across multiple calibration disciplines, including electrical, flow, pressure, dimensional, temperature, and humidity.
The role will perform on-site calibrations at customer premises, with work in the Edison lab when field work is not scheduled. You will play a key role in supporting our continued growth and delivering the high standards our clients expect.

Responsibilities
You will be expected to:
- Calibrate a wide range of multi-parameter test equipment from a range of industry sectors
- Perform calibrations at customer premises as and when required, ensuring professional service and customer satisfaction
- Source equipment specifications when necessary
- Proactively attempt to improve test techniques and portfolio.
- Maintain both high quality and high throughput of work
- Provide the administration team with timely data
- Maintain turn round times to a minimum level
- Enter data correctly and update the job progression system
- Provide detailed calibration certificates
- Maintain and safeguard the integrity of test equipment and company standards.
- Ensure customers’ requirements are met
- Provide certificate details when calibration complete.
- Accurately recording personal activity against KPI’s.
- Keep a tidy and well-ordered environment
Essential Competencies
- Diploma in electrical technology, or a similar discipline, from a technical or community college or demonstrable qualification through experience
- Experience within the instrumentation industry or previous experience in an electrical/ electronic role
- Personable and professional
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Sound mathematical knowledge
- Meticulous approach to work
