Oxygen Analyser Calibration

Highly accurate oxygen analyser calibration services

Oxygen or o2 analysers are used to measure the level of oxygen at any level between 0-100% in a gas or mixture of gasses. There are many different types of oxygen analyser used in a vast array of different sectors, by using this device technicians can ascertain if oxygen level is normal or whether it should be increased or not. The operation of this device is done by using an oxygen sensor made of ceramic material transmits signals to a digital display. These devices are generally very accurate and provide measurements in super quick time.

Medical oxygen analysers, where most of Calibrationhouse expertise lies are designed especially for nurses, technicians, and therapists so they can accurately check oxygen in respirators, incubators, CPAP circuits and other medical devices. Many modern ventilator testers have o2 sensors and can offer the same features as standalone oxygen analysers with the addition of sensor attachment. Standalone oxygen analysers, however, give the advantage of being lightweight, compact and therefore portable, most are easy to read and designed to help medical technicians accurately measure and analyse oxygen levels, oxygen purity, flow rate, and individual outlet pressure.

Regular calibration of oxygen analysers is extremely important, particularly in a medical setting where measurements made by these devices have a direct impact on clinical decisions and patient care. Calibrationhouse offers an oxygen analyser calibration service from its County Durham laboratory, which revolves largely around comparing flow and pressure measurements with our highly accurate flow source and deadweight pressure tester.
